  First time there and very disappointed!! If you want an overpriced "bubba burger" from Walmart then this is the place. The waitress was horrible. I expected the food to be homecooked country style however it was pre- frozen from a bag. When we got the bill it was a shock to see the extra charge for every little thing and a $3 charge for glass of tea that the waitress didn't keep refilled. Powhatan is great but will not return to this restaurant.

  Great staff! They saw I was waiting outside before they opened for an early breakfast and actually let me in early! Excellent country hometown eating and environment. I love this county.

  My wife and I came here for the past 15 or so years and the food and service has always been terrific I think super size portions. I think Jimmy is a great guy and his staff just compliment the restaurant s a whole. My wife passed away two years ago and I still come alone to enjoy the food and memories we shared. Try it, you'll like it, I'm sure.
